Winkle College of Pharmacy at the University of Cincinnati and has built her career at the intersection of pharmacy operations, innovation, and patient-centered care. Her service to ASHP includes participation in the Section of Community Pharmacy Practitioners through the advisory group on Business Development Strategic, where she currently serves as co-chair. She has represented the meaningful work of pharmacy through presentations at professional conferences, service within ASHP as well as state and local pharmacy organizations, and precepting for several pharmacy schools across the region. Robinson actively engages in supporting initiatives within her community and is committed to advancing the role of pharmacists as essential drivers of access, equity, and innovation across the healthcare continuum.
Meet Bri L. Robinson
My philosophy is rooted in where I started- the community pharmacy where I was exposed early to point-of-care testing, medication therapy management, and adherence programming. That shaped my understanding of the pharmacist’s role, not just as a dispenser, but as an accessible healthcare provider making interventions to improve outcomes. I saw pharmacist-led care close gaps, build trust, and change the trajectory of patients’ health. Now practicing within a health system, I still carry that perspective. I believe one of our greatest opportunities as a profession is to better connect community pharmacy, ambulatory care, and health system operations to create a more seamless, patient-centered experience. When we align these efforts, we not only improve outcomes, but we also strengthen the long-term viability of our health systems. As our section continues to grow, I aim to help elevate and highlight the impactful work happening in these spaces. Community-based pharmacy services deliver meaningful clinical outcomes every day, and it is critical that we continue to define, measure, and share that impact across the profession. My approach to leadership centers on developing and empowering people and optimizing systems to expand impact. Innovative models of care extend the reach of pharmacy services beyond traditional boundaries. I hope to join the section leadership team with focus on elevating practical strategies, fostering collaboration across practice settings, and ensuring our members are equipped to lead through change. I am committed to helping our profession stay grounded in patient care while boldly evolving to meet what comes next.
