- BBraun discontinued Hespan in 2022.
- Pfizer has hetastarch in sodium chloride available. Hextend (hetastarch in lactated electrolytes) is available.
- Pfizer is the sole supplier.

Estimated Resupply Dates

- Pfizer has 6% hetastarch in 0.9% sodium chloride 500 mL bags and Hextend 500 mL bags available.
