Specialty Pharmacy services are a cornerstone of patient care and health system sustainability. As leaders of the profession, we must be ready to meet the operational, clinical, and financial challenges that arise in a constantly evolving profession. Facing these exciting changes head on will require pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, patient access specialists, and pharmacy leaders to collaborate to create unique care models allowing health system specialty pharmacies to maintain a superior quality of care. As an active member, vice chair and chair of the Section Advisory Group (SAG) on Accreditation and Compliance I have seen the dedication of the members of the section and am inspired by the collective passion of the Section. Each SAG has contributed to a vast number of applicable initiatives including improving pharmacy education on Specialty Pharmacy practices, developing new business models, and streamlining patient outcomes to contribute to the progression of our profession. I am grateful for the support and education I have received from the members of this Section. If elected, I would be honored to serve the Section and have the opportunity to collaborate with a community that has propelled the advancement of our practices and the care of our patients.
