Jaelyn L. Benyard, MHA, is a 3rd year Doctor of Pharmacy candidate at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she currently serves as her Class Chair. She holds a Master of Health Administration from Florida Atlantic University and a Bachelor of Science from Florida A&M University.
She is passionate about leadership, community health, and advancing pharmacy practice through mentorship and advocacy. She is actively involved in national pharmacy organizations, currently serving as a student member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacist Council on Pharmacy Management and as an advisory member for American Society of Health-System Pharmacist Pharmacy Student Forum. A dedicated mentor and advocate for underrepresented communities in healthcare, Jaelyn is also the founder of Coated Conversations, Inc. In her spare time, she continues to champion STEM education, empower future leaders, and contribute to community health initiatives.
Jaelyn is actively involved in several professional organizations, including American Society of Health-System Pharmacist, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Incorporated and Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society, where she serves in multiple leadership roles. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, she enjoys mentoring students, volunteering in her community, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Yosef Bedair

ASHP/TPTS Summer Intern
Yosef Bedair is a rising P3 student at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy. He is driven by a passion for advancing patient care through innovative healthcare solutions, data-informed decisions, and expanding medication access. He is a member of Rho Chi and currently serves as the P3 Class President, President-Elect of Kappa Psi, and Chair of Seminars and Residency Preparation for his Student Society of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP) chapter. These roles have helped him strengthen his leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, while enabling him to serve as a voice for his peers.
Yosef has a strong commitment to patient-centered care and medication safety, reinforced by his pharmacy intern experiences at SSM Health St. Louis University Hospital and CVS. These experiences have also fueled his ambition to advocate for the critical impact pharmacists and pharmacy technicians can have on improving patient outcomes.
Additionally, Yosef has contributed to research on empiric antibiotic therapy in nosocomial pneumonia and best practices in palliative extubation, which have sharpened his critical thinking skills and deepened his interest in using data and system-based approaches to guide clinical decisions.
Outside of pharmacy, he enjoys soccer, basketball, kayaking, and fishing, activities he feels help bring balance and energy to his life. Yosef is excited to contribute to the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and The Pharmacy Technician Society® (TPTS) Summer Internship, collaborate on impactful projects, and further explore leadership and innovation in pharmacy.
