ABOUT THIS PODCAST
Pharmacists are pivotal in disease prevention and health promotion by advocating and administering immunizations. Despite increased access of vaccines which can prevent diseases, complications, and death, many adults in the US are not up to date on their immunizations. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices provide annual guidance on vaccine recommendations. This podcast will cover 2025 vaccine updates for pneumococcal, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), Hepatitis B, and Monkeypox virus (Mpox) with ASHP ambulatory care pharmacists highlighting personal perspectives and tips from their varied practice sites. CE for this episode expires on June 7, 2027.
